OUR UPCOMING COURSES
The life of an opera singer can be enormously unpredictable. Anything can happen on stage or in rehearsal, and this can impact your performance.
This powerhouse team of international professionals will equip you to deal with any situation that might arise – be it taking stagecraft/direction/characterisation into your own hands when necessary; pacing your vocal strength if you are unwell or tired; or learning how to use the score, orchestration, tempi, set and costumes to your advantage.

DEADLINE:

For many singers, securing a “fest” ensemble position is the dream. But what does that actually entail?
Longtime baritone soloist of the Berliner Staatsoper ensemble, Roman Trekel, will guide participants through what is expected of a “fest” singer. Former SLS student, Sophie Kochanowska returns to offer insights from both sides of the experience as a singer turned Spielleiterin – the director responsible for getting a revival on stage in a mere matter of days.
If you want to prepare for an ensemble position or audition – this is the course for you!
