This workshop will focus on equipping participants with all the fundamental skills required for a successful operatic career which are often overlooked during academic studies. These include: multitasking on stage, inconspicuously watching a conductor or
prompt, picking up subtle cues from performance partners & navigating unexpected situations whilst still delivering a vocally and dramatically sound performance.
REPERTOIRE FOR THIS COURSE WILL INCLUDE ARIAS, ENSEMBLES & SCENES
TO BE SELECTED BY THE PARTICIPANTS IN CONSULTATION WITH THE STAFF
(All repertoire to be memorised.)
1 private session with each tutor
2 workshops (with all 4 tutors) x 6 days
1 hour stagecraft x 6 days
Livestreamed evening workshops & final performance
