Singing in English is very frequently underestimated, particularly by native English speakers. The wide-ranging classical repertoire composed in English necessitates a diverse range of accents and dialects, many of which are not inherently well-suited to the physical demands of classical vocal technique.
This workshop brings together three musicians with extensive experience working with English art song, music theatre and opera, plus a specialist theatre and film dialect coach from London’s “The Dialect Agency”.
