In performance, energy can be a force of restriction, or it can propel you into discoveries far beyond your comfort zone. In this workshop, we will cultivate ways to harness energy through imaginative play, improvisation, and the breaking of conventional boundaries, with discovery and exploration as our guides.
REPERTOIRE FOR THIS COURSE IS TO BE SELECTED BY THE PARTICIPANTS IN CONSULTATION WITH THE STAFF. PLEASE NOMINATE AT LEAST ONE ARIA, SCENES OR ROLE WHICH PRESENTS A “BLOCK” OR LEAVES YOU FEELING STUCK IN SOME WAY.
(All repertoire must be memorised.)
1 private session with each tutor
2 workshops (with all 4 tutors) x 6 days
1 hour movement/improvisation x 6 days
Livestreamed evening workshops & final performance
